The food was great , my son loves roast duck noodle soup and combination sar horfun. The price I paid for a dish around 8-10 dollar for meal to share with my son. The service was fast but sometimes not consistency with the quality of food. As the price gone up so I change to go next door which sell the same food and a bit lower price and warmer place for winter.

One of our family favourites. My son is a fussy eater, but he absolutely loves the Sau Hau Fan, Char Kway Teoh and Chicken Rice - the hardest is choosing which one to eat.
Food is pretty good. However, some customer services have room to improve. During peak hours, it is undeniable that some may get frustrated. But if it happens all the time, things gotta change! Customers satisfaction is the key to a business' success. A smile wouldn't hurt at times.
Approximate cost: $8
A very noisy and always busy place to have one of the best malaysian/ chinese food in Adelaide! Among my favourite dishes are the BBQ pork toss noodles, hainanese chicken rice, fried kuey toew and wanton soup. The only downside is that you get really crappy service and may even need to share a table with strangers cause they're always packed!
Approximate cost: $8
Wide veriety of food but not all are good. The place can get quite crowded during lunch time and the tables and seats are placed very closely to one another. It can get quite hot and stuffy inside. The staff is not very polite at times and constantly rushes you to decide and at times can come across as rude.
Approximate cost: $12
Penang is a Chinese restaurant in Rundle Mall. It's not central but not exactly out of the way. The atmosphere isn't bad. There's a lot of tables but some are quite close together. It does get pretty hot inside though and there's only fans, no air-conditioning.
There's a wide range of food on the menu to choose from. The prices are pretty typical for that type of place.
The only problem I really have is that the staff rush you to make up your mind. The moment you walk in the door, they surround you and throw questions at you like "where are you sitting" "how many people" "what are you ordering". Then you barely get a chance to look at the menu before you're urged to make up your mind.
