I have used Steve for a couple of minor electrical jobs over the last couple of years and he was very dependable and reasonably priced. When we went to have our kitchen done I immediately contacted him for a quote for all the stuff required. He was his usually lovely self and gave what seemed a reasonable quote (I must admit I did not get any others because I did not see the point, when you find a reliable tradesman stick with him I think). He and his apprentice Elliott came out a couple of times over the next 3 days initially doing whatever they do to make the wiring safe for when the kitchen is ripped out plus replacing a rusty fan/light outdoors and a spotlight. They both worked in well with the cabinet people and plumbers and did the job efficiently and with lovely manners. I was not sure how long it would be till they needed to come back but Steve managed to get back at a great time so that we had a working kitchen by the end of the third day, which we were very happy with. I would not hesitate to recommend Pennard's to anyone who wants a reliable, honest tradesman.
