Made an appointment to see them because I needed a referral to have surgery done on my eyes. Appointment was at 10.35. When I got there the receptionist asked me to fill out a form to which I replied I cannot see the writing on it and she says we need you to fill out the form so again I replied I cannot see the writing on it and she says well we can't see you unless you fill out the form and again I told her ok but I cannot see that well to fill it out and she goes well can you at least just fill out your name so again I said I CAN NOT SEE THE WRITING THATS WHY IM IN THIS EYE CLINIC! So she then points out for me where to write my name on the top which I then did. Then they charged me $2 for a mask then sat waiting for over an hour to get seen. When I went in the first thing they told me was that it's going to cost an extra $200 on top of the $175 that consultation fee for them to do an examination! So I said sorry I cannot afford that so they proceeded anyway. They never even examined me properly just asked me a tonne of questions that had nothing to do with my eyes and made me do the simple eye test and then took a couple of photos of my eyes with a machine. They never did ANY other tests or even properly looked at my eyes! Then after the brief 2min examination they tell me that there's a waiting list of over 3 YEARS if I wanted to get my eyes fixed! They could have simply told me that on the phone before I made the appointment! The receptionist tried to LIE and said she told me that over the phone but she did not! When I called and told her I needed a referral she simply said ok the fee will be $175. So basically I just threw away $175 plus $66 cab fair there and back home for absolutely nothing! I'm on a pension and care for my older brother and money doesn't grow on trees! I'm left now out of pocket till my next payment and my eyes are never going to get fixed! What an absolute scam this health system is! I felt so sorry for the other patients in there when they all came out to pay they all were so shocked at the ridiculous costs they had to pay! Don't use this clinic they are a total scam! They care nothing about us they just find ways to suck us dry! I have been so depressed for so many years because of my eye problems and this experience with this clinic just drove me over the edge! I'm so depressed that it made me want to write this review and I hope others who see this review think twice before using these scammers! P.s your receptionist sucks! What part of I CANT SEE did she not understand!!!
