We recently purchased a house and needed a doggy door installed in one of our French doors.
We contacted several companies and we just weren't 100% happy with what they could offer.
We wanted a good looking door that wasn't going to be an eye-sore but would still be secure.
We come across Pet Doors Aust online and they had exactly what we were looking for. In fact, when I contacted Pet Doors, I was advised that they could custom make so that the door would fit perfectly in. This was great as it would then save extra money to have the glazier come and cut the panel to size. As we live in Qld, installation was not an option for us.
Within one week after confirming that our measurements were correct, our custom made panel was here.
We were able to remove the panel of glass ourselves have our custom made door fit in perfectly.
It looks fantastic and the quality is of high standard.
We are so happy with our door and it looks great too.
Thanks so much for the great service and quality product.

We wanted a doggy door installed in our back door, which is made of toughened glass - I couldn't believe some of the quotes we got, in excess of $1,000. This is for a Toy Poodle to in and out! I got quotes from O'Brien and a few other places, and almost decided not to bother.

I called Pet Doors Australia and the woman on the phone was so, so helpful, and explained the various options to me, including pros, cons, prices, etc. We ended up getting the door installed in a different door and all up it was something like $250, including installation. I wish I could remember the exact price, but it was definitely WELL under half of the other quotes I had been given. The woman knew what she was talking about and was able to tell me what would and wouldn't work in our house, and for our circumstances, which is far more than any other company I spoke to. We installed the dog door in a wooden side door and it fits our needs (and our dogs) perfectly.

The man who came to install the door was great, he did a beautiful job and I'm so happy that I ended up getting that quote. We saved ourselves hundreds of dollars and it was a pleasure to deal with the company both on the phone and in person. Even though it would have still been very expensive to install the dog door in the toughened glass door, Pet Doors Australia actually explained why, and how much the various components etc would cost. It wasn't just some exorbitant price for no apparent reason, plus labour.

Approximate cost: $250?

We needed to install a pet door at our new place so our furry kids could go in and out while their at home by themselves. Our only problem was that our laundry does not lead into the backyard so we were playing with two ideas:
1 - have a door installed on one of the glass panels of the sliding door
2 - have a door installed in the brick wall
You'd think the glass would be better right?? WRONG! The prices came in at approximately $600 as a brand new pre-cut window had to be installed.
Pet Doors Australia was able to offer a much cheaper (AND BETTER) option for only $375 (supplied & fully installed)
They came in, did the job, took away all the rubbish and cleaned up after themselves - the door looks great and everyone comments on how good of a job they did
We HIGHLY recommend this company to everyone out there
