We went on a Monday night and to my surprise it was packed! The food was better than expected and so was the authenticity. The prices were reasonable, but we tasted the food, we knew it was worth the value. The beef rendang was very tender and although on the spicier side begs you to take another mouthful. The mee goreng was average, but does remind you of the hawker stalls in Malaysia. If you ever want to brave the traffic and lack of parking spaces in Glen Waverley, Petaling Street is the place to go.

This place has a really nice atmosphere. My friend took me there because he is Malaysian and he raves on and on about this place. INdeed, the atmosphere was nice and the food looked good too. But a bit too spicy for me. For someone who couldn't take spicy, i couldn't enjoy the dishes completely. But from what i saw around me, eveyrone seemed to be really satisfied with their meals.
There are a few non spicy options and the waitress was happy to go through them with us. But worth noting it is predominantly spicy!

The food here was delicious. They served free milk tea drinks between 3-5pm which was a benefit for me. The service here was okay, not that great but expected better. A bit crowded as well and have to wait sometimes.

Ordered the Dry Chicken Curry noodles. Not many Malaysian restaurants do this so I was happy to see it on the menu. Tasted pretty good. My companion had the Fish Head Noodles, quite tasty and a better price than Claypot King which is across the road.

Approximate cost: $10
