We usually use the timed dog wash at petbarn Brookvale. We can wash both dogs (short haired Kelpies) easily for the minimum timed wash which costs $11. Staff are great - it’s a busy dog wash because there’s only one bay but don’t mind the occasional wait. We went to Belrose yesterday. Store empty. Went to use the dog wash and they want $10 per dog. Asked why when the dogs use the same bay and are washed together (by me). Told it was for the extra shampoo what a load of rubbish. Asked if they charged extra for the shampoo for long haired dogs - silence. Walked out of this empty shop with staff doing nothing and wondered if they understood the opportunity coast of someone with 2 dogs being turned away from their empty self serve dog wash. We buy twice as many collars, dog beds, treats, toys and bags of dog food on the way out. But no they want to persist in charging separately for two dogs in the same self serve dog wash bay. We drove back to Brookvale for our usual wash (both dogs happily in together) and bought all our dog food and new leads there. There’s a lesson here for Belrose - not sure they’ll get it as they look at their empty dog wash and empty store.we won’t be back.

Very rude staff. Petbarn would do well to educate their staff at the Belrose branch in good manners and customer service.
