WORST OWNER ATTITUDE. Your pet’s grooming will be okay here until something goes wrong and the owner will start lying and putting the blame on your pet and the pet’s owner. Took our girl dog for a 2pm wash & cut appointment. Dropped our girl dog off at 2pm. Got a text back from Pets on Point stating our dog was ready for pickup at around close to 4pm. Picked her up and went home. Once home there were blood spots on her bed and she would not move from her bed…very strange for her to do this. We picked her up and noticed a puncture wound on her belly. She was bleeding from what it looked like a deep cut from clippers or scissors. We called Pets on Point, but they were closed. Sent them a text to find out what had happened. No reply so called them the next day. Spoke to the bloke who seemed to be the owner. I asked him politely what had happened. He says ‘the wound was on our girl dog before we dropped her off there.’ What a total crock of sh$#t! As if we dropped off our dog for grooming when there was an open wound on her.. He then sends me a photo of her wound that was taken at 3:09pm (I had checked the photo stamp on this photo taken by them via my iPhone app) stating that the wound was already there. We dropped her off at 2pm and he sends us a photo of her wound taken at 3:09pm??? Very obvious by their attempts to cover up and put the blame on the pet owner. I presume they’ve done this on multiple occassions. Clearly you can see from the photo the hair on our dog was already cut and the wound was a result of an accidental cut from the groomer. Owner still shouts that the wound was already there before our dog came in. He also says come check the CCTV that they have in their store. As if that’s going to make a difference. The right thing to do was for them to call us on the day and state they’ve had an accident but rather what do they do? Try to cover up and put the blame on you. Owner also says ‘Don’t come back as we have plenty of customers so we don’t need you.’ WORST ATTITUDE I’ve come across for a business owner. That’s not a nice thing to say to a paying customer. All we wanted was a simple explanation and an apology. But what do they do? Come out guns blazing and straight up lying to your face and tell you not to come back. lol. Rediculous. If you care about your pet, do not take your furry ones here. They might have good reviews but when something goes wrong that’s when the true colours of this place comes out.

My dogs love their weekly appointment at Pets on the Point. Their cuts are admired by all on our walks.

I am very protective of my puppy but I felt completely comfortable leaving him in the hands of these professionals. They were very trust worthy and knew what they were doing. The job was really well done.

excellent friendly, knowledgable staff, great range. Very experienced groomers who do a great job and all the retail staff are vet students or similar so very knowledgable and very helpful. Have a great range of accessories. Susan (manager) will go out of her way to help
