Have been here a few times. Was happy to take our Labrador for his free dog wash in store. Staff are always helpful, especially when we needed a Halti for our Ridgeback.

My reptile's heat lamp globe stopped working, and I needed a new one urgently. Being less than 12 month old, I assumed it was still under warranty, but the store I bought it from had closed down, and I could not see any warranty information on the box or receipt. I looked up the website for the product, and there was no information on there either. They listed PETstock as one of their stockists, so I called them. The person I spoke to was trying to help, but said they had no information on the warranty of these products even though they sold them. I explained that I had got it at a different store that had closed down, and we agreed that I would go to their store and purchase a different brand globe and leave the broken one at PETstock for them to chase up the warranty with the sale rep after the weekend. When I got to their store a different person came to serve me. I asked for the person I had spoken to on the phone. The assistant said he was buy catching birds, and she didn't want to go relieve him so he could help me because she didn't like catching birds. I told her I needed a new globe and I was going to leave the old one with them for them to chase up the warranty with a sales rep. She proceeded to try to find the warranty on the box. I explained that we had already done all of that, I just needed the globe. She then pulled out the product catalogue to look up the warranty even though it had already been checked, and then started calling a different store to ask them if they knew what the warranty was. I was getting very frustrated as I had someone waiting for me in the car, and all of this checking had already been done by the previous sales assistant that had helped me on the phone. The first assistant finally came over and started to help me. I got him to pick me a new globe, and then was trying to pay for it when a different staff member came up and asked the person helping me if he wanted her to get him something at the milk bar. After waiting for this discussion to end, I finally paid for the new globe, only to have the other sales assistant tell him they were not going to do anything to help me with the broken globe because I had not purchased it at their store. I had made this perfectly clear on the phone before going in there, and while I was there, and had said I would purchase a new globe at their store if they helped with the old one. This had been agreed to on the phone. It was extremely frustrating to be kept waiting ages for this sales assistant to relook up everything that had already been checked when she had no intention of helping me anyway. I asked her for the phone number so I could contact the rep myself, and she rolled her eyes at me and I was told to look it up online.
