Gets rather busy but the way it runs helps ease the busy burdens as you pay first. The food here is delicious and the atmosphere gives a nice feel. Enjoyable dining.

The set up is very smart. Like a cafe you order and pay at the counter in advance. This then leaves you to just be waited on.
The food portions are very generous and full of traditional Vietnamese flavors like lemon grass.
We had the blue swimmer crab dumplings which were awesome. The duck pancakes were huge and the pork hock and tofu mains from the specials menu were taste sensations.
The restaurant is very busy so it's not a place to sit and linger over a meal.

I have been to Phamish plenty of times over the years and never get disappointed. If you are planing to eat there try to get relatively early so you dont miss the duck pancakes, they're so popular they always run out and for good reasons!
Great food at reasonable prices. Last weekend we tried their beef & papaya salad & salt/pepper squid, chicken & prawn rice paper rolls. Flavors were vibrant & fresh. We'll definitely go back.

Being a restaurant with the same surname, I definitely had to bring Bestie along to sample the food!

The prices are abit exy, but considering you are in Darlinghurst...We has the salt and pepper squid, asian greens and duck and prawn pancakes!

They were bl0ody delicious! My fave has to be the pancakes, they were massive and very thick. But i couldn't see or taste prawn inside! They were also abit oily but very tasty!

It is a great place to grab some asian tucker if your ever close by to the city , but keep in mind it does get busy. The courtyard either inside or out ia a great atmosphere to dine in!

Approximate cost: $15+

This place does have good food and most options come with dipping sauce which is great. As I love sauce. The salt and pepper prawns were amazing but you can't go too wrong with deep fried food. The chicken in the yellow curry was very chunky and I would have liked some veggies but it still tasted good. The chicken and prawn pancakes were in fact a rice paper roll and were quite nice too. Parking is not easy and expect to have to wait for a table. We had to wait 30 mins on a Tues night so I would hate to think what it is like on fri or the weekend but the food comes out very fast once you order which is good as you will not be wanting to sit and relax for too long on the little plastic stools.

Approximate cost: $15-25

Amazing vietnamese food - busy, tasty, fresh, good value for money. The venue is great as well - courtyard beneath The Republic, Darlinghurst - outdoor eating in a great off street location.

Definately one of my favourite restaurants. It is BYO and the food is very reasonable. The staff are lovely and make you feel very welcome. Make sure you ger their early to avoid a long wait as you can't book.
Definately worth trying this resturant and you can't go past the salt and pepper squid.

Approximate cost: $16

This Vietnamese cafe/restaurant is very small but has the yummiest food. You order at the counter and the food comes out very quickly so I would recommend to not order all meals at once. The salt & pepper squid is devine. It is also BYO and corkage is very cheap!
