My partner & I recently went to Pharley's for a NSW Rego inspection, we found the staff to be polite, understanding (as we turned up a day earlier than booked in, by mistake) they attended to us promptly and were very thorough in explaining the repairs required, and even recommended another local business to do some specialised repairs (they were also great) we would highly recommend Pharley's as they went above and beyond our expectations to help us sort out the car issues in a timely manner

Recently my partner visited Pharleys to have her car inspected for a green slip. Once the inspection was completed she was continually harassed by one of the staff members spouting inappropriate comments. It was to the degree that she actually left the establishment in tears. Needless to say I accompanied her for the trip back to get her car checked off with the defects now fixed. We brought it to the management attention who apologised profusely and stated it was not the first time this had happened and has had to speak to the staff before. We left with the feeling that the management did not quite understand the degree at which this had upset my partner. I followed up the following week with a call to see what had been done about the situation. Again, I spoke with the management. At this time I asked if they knew what had been said as they seemed to feel as though it could not have been taken in anything but a comical fashion. When I quoted back several of the remarks that were stated, management did agree that the staff member was well out of line, definitely not appropriate and could see how she could have very easily been offended by what was said to her. After speaking with the management again they informed me that their staff member was "shocked" that she had taken it the way she had and seemed to show some remorse. The excuse we kept receiving was that it was "just the staff's sense of humour and meant nothing by it". Unfortunately I feel as though that is not good enough. In saying all this the management was quite responsive to the situation, however, I could not recommend anyone to go there. As mentioned it was not the whole team, just one staff member. I just hope that for the sake of their business they can put something in place to stop this happening again.

A few years back, I blew up a motor in my old 96 Mitsubishi Magna. These guys were the only ones in Canberra and NSW that could source me a replacement motor. And they had it in the next day! I highly recommend them for hard to find parts!
