To be fair, they did ask us to leave a review as they recently renovated. But the food was great and service friendly so can't complain

Love love love the food, the service is extremely friendly. only complaint is that we had to ask for food to be brought out as it had been forgotten. If I lived closer would be here everyday.

A busy place with many shops and crowded with mostly Chinese, Vietnamese people. This restaurant is big with basic decor. Many locals were already eating there unbelievably at 11.30am. I ordered Beef Special. It was good except for the beef ball which disintegrated upon biting. Otherwise, I would have given 4 stars. Free hot tea was provided in a thermos flask.

I went to Pho Dakao Hoang at 12pm. It was crowded but no queue. Hot tea was served in a thermos flask. I ordered Crispy Chicken with Red Rice $8.50. The Maryland tasted bland. The rice tasted like rice except for its colour. But wait a minute. The magic was in the sweet & spicy dip that I did not notice at first.

Approximate cost: $8.50

I don't know about weekdays but service is compromised most of the time as this place as tooooo busy lunch time or dinner on weekends. But there is a reason behind that. Great consistent tasty food. Pretty sure the same owners run the place still since they've opened and although they're probably raking it in, the owners are still working there always greeting us with a smile.

We make any excuse to go to Springvale to eat here. The beef pho is delicious and it's cheap as you expect in the suburbs at only $8.50. I'm not Vietnamese but I may as well be with the amount of pho I consume. These guys provide flavoursome dishes, although you may need to get some help with the menu board as its in Vietnamese from memory, although for me it's simply beef pho that I order so I don't bother with looking at the menu. Drinks look very popular, I'll have to order one next time, although I'm usually too full of soup to squeeze in a drink. But it is fun to watch them press the sugar cane to make the sweet drinks.. Can you get any fresher than that!

Approximate cost: $8.50
