Being Good Friday today, there wasn't much options for dinner tonight. Thought we were lucky to find Phu Vinh open for business and booked a table for 4. That was all the positives about this dinning experience.

The place was at about 80% capacity but it was small - may be seating for 50-60. After seating ourselves, we were suitably ignored until we gestured for menus.

They then took our orders promptly and drinks started arriving shortly one by one. This is where it started to go bad. The drinks stopped coming after the third one and food started coming. We asked about the last drink at least three time with three separate staff who either agreed or repeated to us that one more drink was to come.

Then the final dishes arrived, but one of them was wrong. It was sent back. Again three separate wait staff came and told us what it was that got sent back - Duck Noodles, and I had to say it three times that it was not what we ordered, we ordered Egg Noodle Wonton.

When the Egg Noodle Wonton finally arrives, most of us were finishing our meal. No sign of the last drink either, but by then we didn't care anymore.

The food was ok. It was fresh and fast but its a high turn over noodle place, you kinda expect that. The serving was small compared to other Vietnamese places. There was only three Wonton in the Egg noodle Wonton!

Service was their biggest let down, food and drinks were just plonk on the table, no announcement of what they were. We had to work it out amongst ourselves.

It look like it was a family owned business but that shouldn't be an excuse for poor service or poorly trained staff.

Approximate cost: $10-12

When I feel like vietnamese food, I will come here. Very reasonable price and very tasty. You get a table quick and you get your food quick and you leave feeling satisfied.

Approximate cost: $9

The customer service is okay, nothing flash. the girls are very fast to bring you flask of chinese tea and menus. it was not as busy on the week day.. i find on the week end there is a little wait but usually you do not have to wait long for a table. there is cutlery on the table and you help yourself. A box of tissues is also on the table too.

Approximate cost: $9
