We had to replace our fence, which had difficult access. Of the 3 quotes received, we chose Picket and Fence, even though they were not the cheapest.
The reason for choosing Paul was that he knew exactly what was required and was extremely personable to deal with.
When he said what time he would be there to do the job he was prompt and when the job was finished there was no mess left to clean up.
The job itself was far beyond our expectations and have asked Paul to quote on doing our other fence as well.

This is our first time using Paul and he was a pleasure to deal with. Initially we obtained quotes from 3 other fencing firms with Paul in the middle of them. The thing that got Paul over the line was his professionalism and knowledge of what I needed to be done.
Now that the fence is up I was extremely pleased with the quality of his workmanship, so much so that we have asked him to quote on the fence for our other property boundary.

My fence was a fairly tricky and sizable replacement.

Here is why i think you should consider P&P.
1, Turned up on time or early.
2, Completed job on budget with no surprises.
3, Went the extra mile to complete extra little details, letter box install etc upon request.
4, Finished job as per quote with no interruptions.
5, Did not stop to answer phone or text when working (you come first not the phone).
6, Lines are straight & level and detail excellent for a timber and post fence.
7, Highly approachable, Likes good coffee and happy to be appropriately social whilst getting the job done. Happy for the owner to get involved with the job.
8, Finds solutions to problems to achieve desired results for customer and does not cut corners to make it easy on himself.

TIP! The mistake i made during quotation was not asking about site clean up after job eg: removal of soil & old concrete from pathways & garden beds etc.
This however didn't take very long to do myself with one dump run. All old fencing was removed efficiently by P&P As promised.

Completing a full home renovation in Albany Creek we contacted 5 local fencing contractors late 2015 to quote on a "small" 20m boundary fence between us and one of our 4 neighbours needing urgent replacing. Between the non returned calls and refusal to quote due to being a "small job", Paul was the only contractor to return our call and visit site to measure & quote. After meeting him we were sure he was the person to work with. He demolished the old fence and replaced with a new 6ft paling fence. While here we had him quote on replacing a timber sleeper wall & single side gate. Everything asked for was done with ease and little fuss. September 2017 after almost completing the home reno the remaining 3 boundary fences were now ready to be replaced. After previous experiences with various trades over 2 years of renovating/landscaping we only asked Paul to quote. All 3 neighbours accepted the quotes and today Paul has completed 3 boundary fences along with double gates for our home (around 80metres). We cannot recommend Paul any more highly. Paul is courteous, prompt & reliable, he & his guys turned up every day and at times they said they would, he is easy to talk to and work with. We are extremely grateful to have had Paul and Nigel carry the work out on our property, their work is top quality, nothing is too much trouble. We recently engaged Paul for a second time, to build a new hardwood timber fence along one of our side boundaries. Paul did an amazing job, building a fence of superb quality. He doesn't skimp, ensuring posts are properly set in good concrete (none of this quick-set stuff) before he then finishes the rails & palings. All finished to a very high standard. A number of people have since commented on how well built it was. And all for a reasonable price. As always, Paul was a pleasure to deal with from quote till completion and was super accommodating as we had our boundary surveyed after we booked him in which caused a delay due to some trees needing removal. He was able to work around that and also came to site to put up a string line post survey so we knew what needed to be removed. 5 star quality and service!

Paul and Nigel just completed my timber fence and I couldn't be happier with the level of workmanship. I am glad I chose him. The fence is fantastic and certainly adds value and privacy to my house.
