pie face aren't too bad, a good option if not much else is open. I didn't like their coffees, however. I bought one that purported to be strong, and it was just medium. their coffee is mostly machine made I think. It is definitely not a barista type place.
they seem to have a good selection of pies and pastries and i haven't tried one but friends have said they are ok.
service is average, nothing special or anything past expected.

Good pies at a reasonable price. Good location and good service. Not the best pies in town but does make good snacks when low in cash. Also, is usually open late .

Best known for the pies (there is a wide range of savoury pies, filled with quality ingredients - steak & mushroom, chicken & vegetable) they also have a few sweet pastry/cake options.
The coffee is decent too - with varying strengths (with amusing names).
