No way would i go back or recommend this fish n chip shop. Absolute crap food, smothered in oil & cooked in bad oil. & expensive aswell

Dinner one night was at Pier One. They run a takeaway fish and chip store but also have a restaurant which is accessed around the side of the building. It was air conditioned and very cool. Fresh fish is their specialty and my husband had a mixed fish meal and I had grilled calamari with chips and salad. Very nice and very friendly and helpful staff.

I think I have found the best take away fish & chip type shop in Wallaroo! Their chips were cooked to perfection, crisp and golden outside with soft potatoe filling inside, with just the right amount of seasoning and chicken salt. We got a huge serve for $4, enough to feed 2 adults and one teenager.
I have also purchased hamburgers and fish/seafood packs there in the past and would recommend them also, always cooked just right and they always get our orders correct. They have a lovely outdoor eatery area which overlooks Wallaroo jetty and the ocean, a lovely place to sit in the warm weather and enjoy your food.
