We stopped here on the way up the coast to have a beer and lunch. At the time they had two for one dishes. My partner and I both got the steak and chips which were delicious. Very pleased with the stop over there.

The piney is a bit of a favourite of mine as I used to go there when it was a bit of a dive. It has had a decent makeover now and has a steakhouse attached to it as well as a kitchen in the bar area. I haven't been massively impressed by the steaks, they are decent but I think they should be better quality for a place that calls itself a steakhouse. The bar area does pretty good meals though and it has a good TAB and different areas to drink in. Again it draws a big crowd on game days and is still nice and close to the city to start for a few drinks.

This has become the drinks after work on a friday choice after plenty of searching (ok...pub crawls!) the girls and I have settled in. Admittedly we all have to leave by 7 so have no idea what it's like later but a couple of drinks and shared pizza and plates of chips finishes the weekv off nicely
I am a pretty big fan of this place. I have been numerous times, for a lot of different events, from private functions to just a quite beer.
It is one of my favourite places to watch the AFL grand final, which I have one there for the last 3 years, also.
They have a really great vibe, friendly staff and usually a happy client base.
There is lots of space, they have indoor and outdoor areas, and their restaurant. You can sit in the bar area and still order food as well, and the food in my experience has always been really good. They have really lovely pizza's in particular.
This was my first ever time here after driving past for years. From the front it looks small and dingy however from the back and inside its spacious and well done up. I went mid week so it wasn't very busy which was great, and the food was good and the staff were great. They have an awesome little children's play area where my kids aged for an hour while I watched them through the window and relaxed-for that reason one I would go back.

We have been to Brisbane about six or seven times now and usually stay at the Kangaroo Point Holiday Apartments. From there the Pineapple Hotel is just a short walk down the road. We have had meals both in the dining room and the lounge area and we found both areas to be a good atmosphere for a quiet drink or meal. In the dining room the meals were a little dearer but well priced and good quality. In the lounge area it is a little bit more relaxing and the meals although a bit cheaper and more snack type meals are available they are still of good quality and quantities. The bottle department also has a good range of wines and beers for taking back to the apartment.
I took my wife here for dinner one night. The atmosphere was pretty good and the steak was nice. It took a while for our order to be served but I think that was because it was pretty busy that night. Not a bad place to go for dinner.
Approximate cost: $20
I ahve had lunch here quite a few times - they offer great weekday lunch deals and the food has always been good. The staff, though often busy are always polite and friendly
The Pineapple Hotel hosts Faith on Tap every month. The place has quite a nice atmosphere. The pizzas they provide are great value at only $10 and are great tasting and are quite a big serving.
Approximate cost: $10
We have lunch here quite often and have not been disappointed. The staff are very friendly and always know what's going on. The food is great and fairly well priced.
