Very tasty dumplings, fresh, juicy and covered in vinegar and soy sauce taste great! Happy to fight the clayton train traffic to get to this place. Staff do their own thing so don't attend to you right away - but the food is good

Great range of choices, staff are very freindly. love their chick and prawn dumplings and the classic pork. Also $1 chicken soup is amazing.

Delicious dumplings, large servings and very reasonably priced - with some good vegetarian options.

When we went, the staff were quite rude/disinterested, which was a bit off-putting, and we had to prompt them several times for water.

Prices were decent and we had plenty of leftovers to take with us when we had finished

Amazing dumplings, great prices! Don't bother booking online though because they don't check their online bookings even though mine was confirmed via email. Got there on time but no table for 30 mins, no apology. We ate elsewhere that night and wished we had of just waited for Pings

My favourite restaurant. Tasty cheap food in an always bustling environment. You can eat like a king here without breaking the bank.

Delicious dumplings and the rest of the food is really good too. It is designed for you to eat and leave, rather than stay to talk, but the dumplings make it all worthwhile. Also, I see a lot of complaints about the interior of the restaurant and the service. To be honest, it's not that bad and when you can gorge yourself for $15, who cares if you're not sitting in some homage to modern art?

Very popular place especially due to its proximity to the university. The shanghai noodles and fried pork dumplings are my go to everytime. Would highly recommend as it has classic chinese dishes

We love going out and eating Shanghainese rice cakes. A lot of these style eateries do look a little run down and dodgy but Pings is clean and well presented. The dumplings are great and the rice cakes are the best

Ping's is great for a cheap eat in Clayton. The portion sizes are large, and the food is tasty. Hygiene and service can be a bit iffy, but for the price it is well worth it!
