When you're waiting for a train in the evening and not much else is open, and you're hungry - then anything tastes pretty good.

We were stuck at Seymour Station and just about the only thing open was Pinky's Pizza. We'd had them once before and they were not that good - rather limp and tasteless and stingy on toppings. But this time it seems they have lifted their game or maybe changed staff.

Not the best pizzas we've had, but quite reasonable - okay amount of toppings, willing to add another ingredient and the bases weren't either thick and tasteless or soggy. So ... pleasantly surprised.

They are in a really tiny shopfront though, so you need to wait outside and one thing to watch out for if you've got young children is the Railway Club Hotel is just a lane's width away and there were a few loud and unsavoury characters hanging around outside.

Approximate cost: $Around $35 for the family
