This cafe is near Parramatta train station, inside Westfield, opposite Gloria Jeans. It's one of the relatively more quiet and cosy cafes in Westfield. Service and food is ok, though admittedly I've only ever ordered tea. This is my preferred cafe inside Westfield, as it is not too "commercial".

We have walked past here numerously whilst heading towards Parramatta Station to catch a train. So friend and I decided to pop by for a coffee break here a few weeks ago. We walked in and were greeted with warm and friendly smiles from the staff and seated and given the menu's. They serve breakfast, snacks, desserts, brunch, burgers, sandwiches etc.

We grabbed a latte and cappuccino. My latte was creamy, thick and strong, without being bitter. We shared a plate of brioche french toast with maple syrup and bacon for $9.90, Nice and thick and bacon was crispy and we ordered some french fries with sauce to share for $4.50.

They also have some great looking desserts like lemon meringue pies, chocolate jaffa cheesecake, muffins, pies, tarts etc which I must come back and sample.

The decor is beautiful and modern with a big picture ( perhaps of Old Parramatta Station back in it's hayday), steam train pictures, staff are friendly, great atmosphere.Lots of lighting, enjoyable experience. Will be back.

Approximate cost: $4.50 +

Wow, can I just say that this place did not leave a good impression on me at all. The food was mediocre, with some portions of my breakfast coming out cold, and others too hot for my tongue, not to mention the fact that servings were very small for the price that it was.

I also ordered a tea, and I wasn't given a spoon to stir the milk and sugar with. This would have been fine, had it not taken me multiple attempts to flag down waitstaff who were clearly uninterested with serving the customers who had already ordered and received their food. My friend experienced similar problems. When I did manage to get a spoon, there were remnants of food on it. That is so disgusting and appalling, I had no words.

What's probably the funnier part of this is that as we went to pay, the cashier told us how much it would cost, and then made a joke that this was just covering the tip. When my friend joked back with a, "That's a big tip," the reply from the cashier was, "Service doesn't come cheap." If that's the service I'm getting for such a big tip, I'd hate to see how much a step up would cost.

Never going back here again. It's such a shame too because it's a nice location, on the bottom level of Parramatta Westfields, connecting the shopping centre to the railway interchange.
