Having just moved to the area and Friday night IS fish and chip night,we thought why not give the general store a go. I tried to give them a phone call on the number on this site . No answer,
three times I tried no answer.I asked at the shop and was told it was their fax number.Real number is 03 57562345.
The fish and chips were great. WILL go back.

It seems to be a family business and has a basic takeaway menu. There is a large selection of drinks with very reasonable prices. Outside seats and tables are provided and the area resembles a park picnic area. The service was very quick and the food was cooked and prepared well. The fish and chips were hot enough, and though they weren't the best quality and didn't seem very fresh, provided a satisfying meal for about $15.
