This little gem was across the road from a B&B that we recently stayed in, & having already eaten at one of the other restaurants in the area, thought we would give this a try one night. We were not disappointed. I had one of the most unusual dishes I've tried in a long time...pomegranate marinated quail. It was sensational, & hubby had a beautiful crispy pork belly dish that was equally sensational.

The waiting staff were a little vague, but after meeting the owner/chef, it became clear why. I don't recall her name, but (in a nice way), she's a little kooky, but really nice & very passionate & proud of her meals, which I really admire.

If you're staying in Port Albert (hopefully at Rodondo B&B), or just visiting, give this cafe a go. I definitely recommend it & don't think it will disappoint. They do great coffee & cakes too :)
