Sandwiches are the same as those sold in the commerce building across the road and some of the other cafes in the area. They're not bad, particularly if you haven't had them before. But if you study/work nearby, chances are you've had them a few times too many. They're quite big and filling, and pretty pricey (about $8 for a sandwich..). I would be interested in a half serve for half the price.

You'll see a fair few students waiting for coffee between classes - don't be fooled by this, their coffee is pretty bad (I know a fair few people with this opinion) but when you have 5 mins to rush downstairs, grab a coffee and get back, this is the only real choice.

I usually get vegemite toast from here - it's only $1.80 for a slice (fairly large slice) and sometimes you get lucky and they use the thick sourdough. Other times you get some crappy thin multigrain. I've also had a nice amount of vegemite and the thickest most disgusting layer of vegemite (clearly by someone who has never tried vegemite and doesn't realise the potency..). It's a gamble, but for $1.80 I don't mind.

Eftpos minimum spend is $15 from memory, so you likely want cash.

The smoothies and coffee are quite alright, though I'm disappointed to get a berry smoothie instead of a choc berry smoothie once. The sandwiches are quite expensive though.
