we got a free photoshoot and print voucher from hervey norman, and decided to give it a go. we weren't planning to spend very much but decided to splurge a little bit. The images were amazing and our little baby smiled and giggled the through the whole experrience. The staff were friendly and open and very welcoming towards us.

We were rushed there were two overused toys to keep the kids busy and they were baby toys. When we went in there were loads of people waiting. They were very vague about the prices and I didnt like the idea that you had to pay on the spot. Would prefer to take time and choose individual photos according to taste. The photographer did not build any rapport with the kids. She used a baby squeaky duck which was not funny so their smiles were fake. She was young and obviously better with the camera than the kids. When I had to come back after 15 mins they were too busy to see me and I went off without seeing the photos. I would like to be able to choose at home on the pc or something. No personal feel but cheap free photo if that is all you want. Ours was $10. They have not called me to come and see photos yet think they have forgotten us. Seem overbooked.

We booked in for some family shots using the PixiFoto voucher from the Bounty Bag. The voucher gave us a free sitting and 10x13 inch photo (which we didn't get to choose - it was the first photo taken). The photographer was quite professional and our photos were reasonable, but we did feel rushed through. There were a lot of other families also getting their portraits done, they were running late, and the 45 minutes we were supposed to get in the studio was more like 20 minutes. The worst thing was the extortionate costs - the cheapest photo you could buy was $80 for a 8x10 inch, and the packages started at $380 - too much for our budget. We ended up buying the two best individual shots, but wished that the photographer had taken a bit more time to discover and capture our son's personality, instead of just taking standard poses. If I go again, I'll probably just get the free shot next time!

Approximate cost: $Packages from $380
