My German shepherd was limping so I took her to Pound road vet clinic and had her booked in for xrays.
10 minutes before the appointment the nurse called me to cancel the appointment as they could not get their xray machine to work, this was frustrating as I had taken the day off work. They called me back about an hour or two later to say its working again, it was just one part that was not plugged in properly and I could bring her in. But by that point I had already fed my dog and she was unable to do the xray as she was going under anaesthetic.
I decided to rebook and took my dog in the following week. She had her xrays and I paid close to 600 dollars for these.
We had identified she needed a TPLO surgery and had booked in with a surgeon. The surgeons clinic called me and said the xrays that were taken (at pound road) were taken at the wrong angle and poor quality and he needed to xray my dog again before he could do the surgery.
Overpriced and service was very poor.

Took my dog here for his vaccinations. Receptionist was nice. I found that the vet I saw rushed through everything. I didn't feel comfortable at all. When I asked if he could also cut my dog's nails, it seemed to be an inconvenience.

Helpful staff, explained the issue and wrote it down for me to remember. Squeezed my dogs in for an appoitment. Friendly staff. Great grass area out front for the animals, prior and on leaving the establishment - ha ha

I have used this Veterinary Clinic for the past 11 years for all of our small animals, ranging from general checkups to major emergencies. All of the staff, including Dr McConachy are compasionate and empathetic foremost to the needs of the animals. Their service and advice regarding courses of treatments available are comprehensive. I wouldn't go anywhere else.

Great service, great vets willing to offer advice. helped save my dog when he was hit by a car and offered the cheapest desexing for my cats around. Have there own newsletter with lots of information. great service good value for money.
