Visited Prahran Hotel about 2 weeks ago with 7 guests for a birthday dinner, we were seated at our request in a window booth. The service was very good and the food was delicious however we found it a little noisy and quite dark (we needed to use our phone torches to read the menu). This did not however take away from having a great night. Well done!

Best beef burger I've ever had! The new fitout is phenomenal and the staff are so friendly and efficient. It's fantastic and going to be my new local.

I have been at least 4 times in the last 2 weeks and was wondering what was wrong....the staff down faced...service the worst I'd had at a normally really good pub. Then I was told management had changed...you can so tell. Bring back SAM, I don't know what you were thinking.....I mean really.

On the weekend (24/5/08) we had our engagement party upstairs in the function room at the Prahran Hotel. It was a great room (or more to the point, collection of rooms) - it has recently been renovated in tasteful art deco style. There are 5 different rooms (but you can close some off) which are all linked with big entrances so they don't feel closed off or separated. There are a lot of couches and places for people to sit but still it felt like one big group/party. They decorated the room with candles and tealights without us even asking. We plugged our laptop into their sound system and had music all night. The finger food was great and the staff were fantastic. It was a very easy party to organise and everything went off without a hitch. I would highly recommend it.
