Great staff and quick service how ever if you are installing something for yourself Id recommend searching further.
Quoted $390 for a door lock, reduced to $310 when I collected it and told they wanted to look after me ! However just found it onl.ine from Melbourne for $210 and free delivery.. Wow $100 just to order it for me . Is that really looking after me and I wonder if thats looking after my company which has spent over $600 in the past week and thousands more in the past few years.

Warranty issue handled badly by Preddey's. I purchased an expensive electric lock about 18 months ago. The lock had a 5 year warranty. When it failed Preddey's insist I purchase another unit for $260+ and wait up to three weeks before I am advised if the unit is in fact faulty before they may refund my purchase of a replacement. Poor show Preddey's! A good retailer would replace without question and then sort the issue out later with their wholesale supplier. I paid a high price for this small item and reasonably expect it to be of high quality.

Preddys are the only people I use to update my locks in the shire. Every time I've needed to move home or get my locks re-keyed, these guys are the only people I call.

A great team of motivated staff, always able to assist with your locksmith needs . They do housecalls but also are happy to cut new keys and supply barrels for door locks and parts so you can do it yourself if you wish. I found these guys most helpful whenever i have needed to use a locksmith and the helpful advice they gave me enabled me to get the job done myself without the added expense of a housecall .
