I was moving house with 2 kids after a trying separation and with my heavy commitments needed to rely on tradespeople to get some work done just prior to moving in. I entrusted the floors to Prima Floors. The end result was disappointing as my very large parquetry floor now has 2 finishes, half my floor is matt/satin the other half is a semi gloss. There is a distinct line where one finishes and the other starts and its very obvious. Looks like he used up his left-overs. Completed the job a day before I had to move in so no time to address this issue. Also I noticed after I moved in that the face of the step going from entrance to living area was not done. Also my floor dents easily eventhough I apparently paid for an extra tough top coat. He may have been extremely polite and tidy and but I now can't help but feel deceived.
