Purchasing a home at times are extremely stressful and often emotional so for buying or selling it is important to choose an agent that will do well for both the buyers and the sellers however this agency has practises that borderlines towards illegal.

In looking for a home we came across a house that was nicely priced. We were told what was the expected price and while we were interested they told us to tell our price at the closing date. A slightly unusual approach however this came with a wicked ending.

At the closing date we put in our offer (by phone) where a few minutes later I received the phone call from the agent stated that someone else made a higher offer. I put in a higher offer where this process repeated itself three to four times. Emotionally I was putting in a higher offer.

My wife stated that this house was for sale and it seems like a very silent auction where there was no idea of the other bidders actually existed unlike an auction you can see. Dummy bidding first of all is illegal and how do we know if these people are simply bluffing us.

At the end (emotionally drained and stressed out) we simply let go where later on through the REIV we could have made the offer days ago and stood by that. Somehow this practice may be legal, it is very much dodgy.

A word of advise, be very very careful when trading with these people as they may take money from one side, there is not reason that they couldn't take it from another side. They are shonky dealers.
