A small bistro with a great standard of service. The waiter was an absolute pro and explained every single dish that we had. They were also able to suggest wines matched to taste preference and dish.

Great food, wine and atmosphere. Perfect for chatting with friends whilst sharing some drinks and food.

The Citi wine offer with a free bottle of wine gives this place value when food is on the slightly expensive side.

Approximate cost: $35

This place comes out on top in all areas.
Walking through the doors, you are immediately struck with a charming exclusive club like atmosphere. On the right is the dining room and on the left the lounge bar. The waiters are attentive, friendly and charming. Service is prompt but not rushed. The menu itself is creative fine dining, without being too adventurous/scientific. We had Heirloom tomato &bullhorn pepper salad, red plums, goats cheese baked baby beets ($24) and King salmon, fennel , prawn and avocado salad , white peach dressing, bisque sauce ($24). My friend and I loved the fact that they also served the mains in entree sizes. It means that we can still eat dessert afterwards, and not have to worry about sending a half eaten meal back to the kitchen.
Dessert is too good to pass up. And very well priced too. We had Profiteroles with banana passionfruit sorbet, tonka bean crème patisserie & fresh passionfruit ($14) and Fig, raspberry, candied seasame & walnut clusters, rhubarb sorbet ($14). The dessert servings were very generous and visually stunning.
I usually tend to take my time, ordering, chatting and eating, when I dine out. On this occasion, I sat chatting with my friend for at least an hour after we were finished with our desserts. At no time, did we ever feel pressured to leave or order anything further, the waiters were very happy to continue to top up our glasses with water.
When we went to leave, we asked if it would be alright if we split the bill across two different credit cards. (This was a logistical preference which I won't detail) The staff were more than happy to do this without question or refusal. I was very pleasantly surprised and delighted. Another example of the excellent service which we had enjoyed all night.
Would definitely recommend this place, for any event - business, pleasure or romantic. You will be well looked after!

Love this place! Service is spot on, giving you enough time to look through the menu, clearing plates quickly, constantly refilling your glass when you're almost out of wine. Food was also excellent- I had the duck dish ($52). A tad on the pricey side, but still a place I would return to.

This is one of my favourite places to date! Firstly, the staff and service were very friendly, unpretentious, attentive and knowledgeable. The tapas/entrees were the best. We ordered tastings from the entree and main menu and it's nice to know they are flexible with portion size options.

We had:
Prawn bonbon with lime wedge - crispy, tasty, prawn was fresh and went perfectly with a squeeze of lime.
Cheese fritter - crispy and inviting on the outside and oozing cheesiness from the inside! Had a blue cheese in the mix and was delicious!
Mud crab risotto with apple shavings - best risotto I have ever had... Flavours were clean, simple and tasty.
Cassoulet of beef ribs - wow there was so much flavours in the tomato base, I couldn't describe it, definitely a lot of depth in flavours.
Then we had 2 more tasting portions from the mains menu, veal shoulder with lentils (good, tasty but not as food as the previous) and a pork cutlet (found this one rather tough.. Least favourite dish).
We also ordered a bottle of beautiful red!

Wow, highly recommended to order from the entree menu!! Food is generally delicious and such a nice restaurant!
Will be back again very soon with more eager diners in tow!

Lovely small place, with exceptional service. Very extensive wine list, which is not too badly priced. Food was delicious, a little on the expensive side, but worth it for a nice atmosphere for a special occasssion

Approximate cost: $35

When you are paying $40 for a steak you shouldn't be left disappointed - as was unfortunately the case here. The wine list was impeccable, but even that can't support mediocre food at a top price. It is probably more suitable for a glass of wine before a show. Otherwise I'd give it a miss.
