We bought our gorgeous blue silver Scottish fold back in 2006 and we have never had a issue with her health and the breeder purshantys was absolutely amazing, all papers, vet papers and records and vaccinations and microchipped, flown across to us in Victoria and is now 10.5 years old and is a DAC (diabetic alert cat for my daughter.
Our amazing girl misky has the most incredible temperament and as she is getting older :(( my daughter who is now 23 says she will only ever get another Scottish fold from purshantys as they breed the best.
Thank you for our cherished and spoiled misky, she has saved our daughters life endless times during night time diabetic hypos and is truly amazing.
xxxxxx thanks purshantys

I have a very similar story to the other review here. No pedigree papers at all, was told her printer was out of ink and she would post them later. Not sterilised. Partly home vaccinated and microchipped. Had ringworm and gave it to my family within 2 weeks. (I was even given an ointment for his ears as the fur had come off them before I got him, which turned out to be the ringworm)

Purchased the kitten in June and was told he was 16 weeks old. Turns out he was from the same January litter as the previous post, about 20 weeks old. Sadly our cat had to be put down today due to FIP. (a 1 in 5000 disease)

Called the breeder and was told that I must have stressed the cat out or gave it poor quality food. (Couldn't be further from the truth) She told me she will not be breeding any more cats from now on and as such was in no position to compensate me at all.

Overall, 6 months of cat ownership of a beautiful Brittish Blue boy has caused my entire family a lot of heartbreak, infected my family with ringworm, and cost me in excess of $1500 in purchase price and vet fees for too many issues.

I would advise anyone to stay well away from this breeder.

I purchased a kitten from this breeder on Gumtree in March 2013. I made my purchase with a $200.00 deposit. She states on her website that she sends updates and pics of your kitten until it is ready to come home. Not true. I had to keep emailing time again to get any information. Always had an excuse. When I picked up my kitten I was only presented with a vaccination card. I asked about a health guarantee for my kitten and she told me they were not worth the paper they printed on. She verbally said that I should have no problems with my kitten. I received no certificate of sterilisation I was told that country vets did not bother with paper work like city vets. What a joke I emailed her a few times to make sure I got mine. I also did not get the Pedigree paper as she states on her website. She promised to send one when I had decided on a pedigree name. I had to repeatedly email her to get mine. First she sent one WRONG name made out for a male. I told her the mistake then she told me to whiteout the mistakes. Then she sent another on with wrong name. Then she told me that I should be happy with my *companion* cat, and that she was selling any future kittens without a their Pedigree. Obviously fobbing me off about getting what I paid for. I pursued her as I bought this kitten with a Pedigree and I was not going to be fobbed off. I finally got another one printed out on a piece of computer paper. Followed later by another. Your cat's Pedigree will not be on an official letterhead. Your cat will not be Registered with the COAWA either. BEWARE!! this breeder after 1st vaccination will vaccinate your kitten herself thus missing out on a further Vet check before coming home to you. She admitted that she did vaccinate herself after I took my kitten for a 3rd vaccination that she didn't need and the Vet pointed out the discrepancy with the 2nd vaccination. You start to question if all is correct if indeed your kitten was really vaccinated. She also Microchips the kitten herself. You then have to pay $8.00 and get on line yourself to register the chip. I did notify this Breeder that my kitten had really bad gingivitis foul breath and sneezing. I told her that if my cat had seen the Vet on her 2nd vaccination he would have picked this up. I got fobbed off. Recent visit to the vet $110.00 for cortisone injection. Vet told me coming from a multi cat cattery there was a good chance my cat had a respiratory infection. I have noticed recently that this breeder does not breed British Blues due to illness. Not sure if it is the cats that are sick or her. If my cat does not improve blood tests will be required to rule out a few diseases known for cats. Here's hoping. Getting to be an expensive cat. I cannot guarantee she is indeed still a Registered Breeder. She certainly has not done all that she pertains to do on her Website. I do not know if she is a registered business. Please BEWARE. Be firm that you get all that pay for when buying her kittens. This kitten cost $800.00. As a *registered breeder* a buyer would have expected much much more. My personal opinion is that Purshantys Cattery tries to save themselves as much money as they can from your purchase by microchipping and vaccinating your cat themselves. Please Google other breeders as I should have done and see what they offer you for your money.
