what can I say they are the best they are so yummy very nice staff always have great customer service and I will be going back there next time I go to queenscliff

I had a steak sandwich at Q fish and chippery today and it was amazing ,the service was great and although it was busy we didnt have to wait very long for our order.Definitely will be back next time we visit Queenscliff.

we have been here a few times with the kids, must say i was not happy! while the food was nice and the staff were lovely, i found them to be quite stingy! u really didnt get alot for you money at all which was quite dissapointing!

we went there on our way to sorrento they have lots of fresh fish to choose from ...the food was beautiful but the pieces of flake weren't as big as i expected and the price was a little bit dearer

Just before hopping onto the ferry or just after getting off, this is the best place to eat with out a doubt. The fish is so fresh and tasty from the area and the chips and sides were very nice. Have been here a couple of times and will continue to come here whenever I get the chance to.

I visited Q fish and chippery at lunch time on a weekday and it was quite busy!

The prices are very high but I think this is because of its harbour location. I had the one person meal deal for $12.90 which had a piece of flake, chips, potato cake and dim sim. The serving was HUGE! It would have been enough for two people with leftovers! The flake was about the size of two pieces at other fish and chip shops, and there was a 3-4 person serving of chips.

The flake was delicious, though it had a thick batter despite being grilled. The 'home made' potato cake and dim sim were ok, but I doubt they were homemade. The chips were nice but very greasy.

Overall the food was nice, but I felt the portion size was a little silly as I felt very guilty having to throw most of it out. If I had known how big it was I would have shared with my partner.

I have been to this fish and chip place on two occasions after first being told of it by relatives of how great it is and yes we were not disappointed it was brilliant.

Most recently, husband and I took his parents there for a Sunday lunch on Father's Day 2012 and we were all impressed with the freshness and quality of our fish and chips. We all ordered a variety of foods, including flake, chips, dim sims, calamari, scallop, potatoe cake which we all enjoyed to the very last chip in our pack.

The servings of chips are very generous and plenty! Next time I think I will order half a serve of the chips!

It was a beautiful sunny day and the shop was so full with people! Fortunately we were served within a few minutes to place our order, but we had to wait about 30 minutes for our meal to be cooked.

As we were awaiting our order, we noticed the queue was very long with people waiting about 20 minutes just to place their order!!

At the time there was only one young teenager serving at the counter and yet he had to go chase people to give them their order. He did his best to serve everyone as efficient as he could I must admit.

There is some table seating inside and outside of the store which is handy, it's a very casual setting but lovely nonetheless at its located at the Marina by the water, making it idyllic to enjoy your meal.

There are also wines and beers available to purchase which is handy if you want something stronger than a soft drink.

Overall … I give it 5 stars because of the delicious meal we all had. However I have only given 3 stars for service based on our last visit due to the long waiting times.

Will go back again and highly recommend this place!
