Another one of my favourite Vietnamese dishes is Ban Xeo which is basically a Vietnamese Pancake. This place located in a hidden alleyway in Cabramatta does a tasty one! The batter is basically egg - almost like an omelette, but it's very thin, crispy and not overly oily. Encased inside you will find pork belly, bean sprouts, onions, prawns and some spring onions. Comes served with complimentary lettuce, mint and other asian style salad leaves. You just tear the pancake in chunks, wrap in the salad leaves and dip into the sauce it comes served with. It's delish, light and healthy. A great lunch.

This place also serves Western food like fish and chips or chicken and chips. But definitely come for the Vietnamese Pancakes, if pork belly isn't your choice of protein, they also serve chicken inside the Vietnamese pancakes too.
