This is a good reliable service. I have never had trouble with it running late or not running. It now has a kids play area which is great to keep little ones amused. It is however very expensive.

this is a great service and a wonderful way to travel across to Sorrento, but unfortunately it is so expensive that it would be something that you could not afford to do very often at all. It would take longer but would be much cheaper to drive. Not nearly as pleasant a trip though

Approximate cost: $168.00 return

This Ferry service is fantastic although a bit expensive via car. It is a bit cheaper via foot (depending on how many people you have with you).

I have been the Ferry Service from Sorrento to Queenscliff and stayed for a few days.

I often watch the Ferries leaving from Sorrento with my family as we go down to Sorrento quite a few times during the year.

If you have the Entertainment book you can get either one complimentary foot or car passenger ticket when you purchase another one.

The experience is a must for sometime in anyones life.

A good way to miss a couple of hours travelling through Melbourne (and the frustration) if you have to get from Mornington Peninsula area to Geelong region. Takes about 40 minutes.
There are about 24 trips a day, leaving from both sides every hour from 7am to 6pm.
The ferries are very modern, drive-on, drive-off, nice and stable and comfortable, about 60 metres long.
It would be a bit dear if you had to do it too often, but it makes our holidays from SA to Rye and Phillip Island areas more relaxing by avoiding inner Melbourne. We usually use the ferry one way and go through Melbourne the other.

Approximate cost: $85 for car & 4 people.

This is a great way to get across Port Phillip Bay! Though it is a bit expensive to get a car and a few people across, the 45min trip beats 3-4 hours in the car! It is a calm and relaxing ride, with nice lounges.

Approximate cost: $40
