Quick snaps Photo Booth is one of the best company that’ did my birthday party I would recommend them to anyone of my friends and family

I am not generally one to leave negative feedback however I wish I had been warned of the service, or lack of service I would be getting when I booked a photo booth with quick Snaps photo booths and want to make sure other people are made aware.

Once I had paid my deposit communication was poor and several emails and calls were required for any inquiries I had regarding our booking.

On the day of the event, I had to ask the attendant if the booth was set up as he did not introduce himself or make the booth inviting enough to show it was ready for use. After the first photo was taken, I asked where the prints were and was told the printer was broken and they would email my prints emailed to me digitally after the function.

I advised the photo booth attendant that I paid for physical prints and did not want to be only sent the photos after the event and that I needed a working printer as I had ordered a photobooth or they could pack up and refund my money back.

The booth attendant called the owner of the company David who refused to speak to me on the phone as he was attending another function.

I was eventually able to communicate with David by text message correspondence who was insisting the photobooth was fully functional and he had provided the paid for service as I was still getting my photos despite the printer not printing. Again, I tried to explain this was not the service I had paid for or what is advertised on their website which states:

“Each time a photo is taken, two copies are printed leaving one for your guests, and one for your guestbook so that you can keep the memories too. After the event, we can provide a digital copy of the photographs to keep for yourself or make as many more prints as you want”

The photo booth was packed up and I was advised a refund would be processed as only one photo had been taken. This took 40 minutes to resolve, all via text message, and during my function that I should have been enjoying with family and friends. The issue could have been easily resolved with a quick phone call, or my being informed of the issue when the attendant was made aware that the printer was not working. This was not mentioned AT ALL, until we had a photo and I questioned where the prints were.

When I mentioned how disappointed I was with the service and would be advising friends and family not to use this company David responded with a text message advising me if I posted any negative feedback, he would not refund me, even though a refund had already been agreed on via text message. Two more messages then followed with a request to reply with a Y to confirm I understood the terms of my refund. I did not agree to these terms at any point as the service I booked and paid for was not provided and I am within my rights as a consumer to provide truthful feedback on my experience negative or positive.

My event was on Saturday 3RD June. I contacted the office on the Wednesday after the function for an update on the refund and was asked to provide my bank account details which were provided the same day. I followed up on the refund again on Friday and was advised the refund was underway and would take 14 business days to process.

I patiently waited for the refund which I was emailed at 12.26am to advise was processed on the 19th of June. Upon checking my account only half the payment had been refunded. I emailed the office back to follow up on the remainder of the refund as at no point was a partial refund discussed. The remainder of my payment was only received after lodging a Paypal dispute on the payment as this was paid in 2 transactions, the deposit to confirm the booking and the remaining amount closer to the event.

I would not recommend this company or use their services ever again.
