Nice friendly staff. Efficient and knowledgeable. Hard-working and organised. Pleasure to deal with. Highly recommended. Gave me advice on my alternature and changed my battery on the spot. Forever greatful. The lady on the phone was so conforting when my car would not start. The man who came out said he often gets interupted sleep to come out on calls for help. This was about six months ago.

Firstly I would like to say that the on the phone dealings I had with RACV where excellent, but I was really unhappy having to get 3 different racv guys out for my car problem with roughly an hours wait for each call out on a freezing cold day. If one had just communicated with each other re what the problem was, I wouldn't have been stuck outside a shopping centre for hours and hours, I would have been towed to someone who could fix the problem the first time around. Really disappointing experience RACV please advise your operators to report the problem to the next guy they call out, to save the customer and the next guy a whole lot of frustration.

I've had bad experiences with them too. Years ago my car got bogged, and I rang them to pull my car out of the sand. When the driver arrived he claimed the length of rope needed wasn't what they normally would use, and although he had a rope that was long enough, he demanded $50 cash before he would help!
