On 22nd April 2010 my husband and i went to the Radio Rental store at TTP to buy a microwave. On entering the store there were 3 young sales people standing at a service desk and an older man serving an elderly lady. I walked in when to the area of the store were the microwaves were. after some time looking and the three young men still chatting i went to ask for help. on approaching the three men they looked again my way but they ignored me.

I walked up the them and asked if they could assist the sales person Kaden assisted but i had to drag information out of him and he was not at all helpful. After doing the paperwork for the purchase i went to cashiers to pay and asked about the free gift that came with the microwave and was told that the store did not have any left but there would be some coming in later in the week and they would ring me. I mentioned to the cashier that Kaden did not asked for my contact details. I gave the cashier my husbands mobile number as his phone is monitored 24 / 7.

On 20th June 2010 I still had not heard anything from TTP Radio Rentals so rang them and spoke to a lady that was very helpful and said she would follow it up and ring me back at that time i gave her my work mobile number. she returned my call but my phone went to message back and she left a message. I rang her back and she mentioned that there was one that they found but it was too large to post so could I pick it up. But i worked in the city all day so arranged to have my friend to pick the parcel up.

When my friend got there it took 20 mins for your team to hand over the parcel.
Firstly they couldn't find it then the person serving her complained about the fact that i didn't answer my phone when they rang to mentioned that my containers had arrived. this is not so as i mentioned before my husbands phone is monitored and he had not received any phone call from them. I checked the number on the docket and it is correct.
The assistant then said to my friend that they need to see ID which she left in the car so she went to get and on returning again the assistant servicing her was bagging me and laying all the blame for the mix up on me.

When my friend bought the parcel to me she said " why the hell did you ever shop at that shop?" well i question that also. the parcel was only 490 grams and only 20 cm x 10 cm so would of taken nothing to post.

Maybe if i was buying a new plasma TV the young men would of wanted to serve me but then again I don't think they know the meaning of Customer Service.

Approximate cost: $198
