I have birth to a baby girl in November 2020.At 31 weeks I had an antepartum haemorrhage of 1 litre ..Ravi was my obstetrician .He came to see me soon as possible at the emergency and did everything he had to do .. he was calm and didn’t scare me throughout the pregnancy .. I’m glad I choose him for the delivery..

I was referred to Dr. Ravi by my GP and also my Gynic.
My first consultation was quite quick because of a labour situation but the second one was also quicker than what i expected.
His comments were. you are fine no issues. thats all.
When a silly question was asked, his response was " it is in the booklet.. you can read".
Wonder why we had to pay 150$ if it is to do with self reading and self analysis. ?

I was referred to Dr Kashyap by my GP, colleagues and Friends
Dr Ravi Kashyap is amazing! He got me through when I faced ROM during 34th week of my pregnancy. He delivered my baby in a very healthy condition after two weeks of ROM. I have him to thank for my gorgeous son. The confidence & reassurance he gave it to me during my pregnancy from the day of first consultation, before delivery and post-delivery is unparalleled. He knew exactly what's going on! He had always made sure myself and my baby are doing fine. When I got admitted in Cabrini Malvern he re-assured, explained everything in detail and made sure to visit me no matter how busy he was.
Based on my recent personal experience I have no doubt in saying he is an expert and specialised in handling High Risk Obstetrics. He is the best Obstetrician; Gynaecologist I have met so far in my life. He is very knowledgeable and very experienced, he made sure that I get the best treatment. He is one of the favourite and the midwives call him 'Lovely Ravi’, ‘he is ‘fabulous/ great’… for a reason!
He is caring, calm, gentle, professional, personable, patient & friendly. Both my husband & I were very happy we chose him. He has exceeded our expectations and we just visited today for our 6 weekly consultation after my delivery. I would absolutely recommend him to our friends and people whom I know.

Dr Ravi is simply awesome! Many people in the reviews below have mentioned that he runs late, but in my case he was always on time. This made it very easy for me to duck out of work to his appointments. He has a calm and collected professional attitude. He always encourages questions and is ready to answer them, though at times mine have been very silly . At my first appointment he promised me he will be at my Birth and he kept his promise. This wasn't the case with my first born and I spent the same amount on a different ob. He directed me through my delivery which was more challenging the second time around because my pelvic instability hip pain. I am truly grateful for his professionalism during the delivery and he made it a point to visit everyday at the hospital to check on me.
I would highly recommend him to anyone.

He is the best doctor I have met so far in my life. He is very knowledgeable and very experienced, if he specializes in something, he will make sure that you get the best treatment.

is he a General Practitioner? or does he have a specialized field of medicine in which he practices in?

I was referred to Dr Kashyap by my GP after being diagnosed with uterine fibroids.

I was called into the consultation room 15 minutes after my appointment time, and was not offered any apology for waiting.
After reading the referral and asking why I was there, he commented that although he was an ObGyn, his main focus was Obstetrics, and not Gynaecology - perhaps an error/misjudgement by my GP, and I will take that up with him.
However, the information Dr Kashyap gave my about fibroids and treatments was very generic, and nothing new to what I had researched online after hearing the diagnosis.

Three times during my consultation, he answered the phone. He did apologise for that - he had a patient who was in labour. Fair enough, but knowing that made me feel like I shouldn't take up any more of his time.

Not once did he go through my results with me nor offer any information on what would happen should I not choose any treatment. He even said that should I choose a myomectomy, he would refer me to another Gynaecologist who does specialise in fibroids.

I left that place even more confused than when I arrived about what I should do about my fibriods.

Whilst I did get the feeling Dr Kashyap was gentle and soft spoken, the 10 minute, $150 consultation was a waste of time and money and I would not recommend him for anyone who needs help with Gynaecological matters.

This rating is inappropriate, as the person met the doctor once and talked thrice and still did not understand that the doctor was not a specialist on fibroid. The person should have gone and written the review on the GP's name who referred her to the wrong doctor without inquiring, in what Ravi Kashyap specializes. If the doctor answers the phone after half n hour and apologizes for his patient being in labor, its courteous of him as he does not need to apologize for anything, no doctor answers in seconds, he is a doctor who has to see several patients, some of whom might be critical. U should be understanding about that and thankful that he entertained u thrice to make u understand that he does not specialize in the treatment you were looking for and was even ready to refer you to a better doctor on that subject matter. Several of my friends from their experience, say that he is the most gentle and best doctor they have met.

it's been 7 years since I had my second child, and I was really happy with Dr Kashyap's service both times. He was actually recommended to me by another gynaecologist!
