One of the worst mistakes in my life was to consider Red 23. They introduced a plot in Mickleham as house and land package. To start with, the agent Sam Kapoor did not come to site to show us the exact plot. He said you drive to the place and I shall reach there on time . however when time came, he is busy and we were left with no one to show the piece of land we put deposit on. All we could see was some big barren land which later will be subdivided to plots. Thats OK . isnt it ?
Now, a couple of days later, he comes up saying You need to urgently put 10,000 AUD towards land and 2,000 AUD towards building which will be fully refundable subject to finance. I said OK , but I did see a big power line near by. can you tell me how far our plot is from that? He goes, Believe me brother, You are like family to me. Its far away I know it. TRUST ME . and I did .
Later My loan application for this lot gets rejected sighting a Power line near by. OK thats fine . Now just repay my money and I shall go find someone else.
Then they say, well 4000 AUD is our administration fee and shall only repay the rest 8000 AUD. I just paid 4000 for nothing. When asked about earlier guarantee given, he says you may not have noticed but I have sent one email saying I will need AUD 3000-4000 if you step back. This is outright cheating.
