Reece Realty is one of the best real estate agent in Newcastle who look after their renters. Christina did an amazing job talking me through during the inspection. I will gladly recommend them to anyone looking for accommodation in Newcastle and Hunter region.

Absolutely terrible experience with Reece Realty, rude staff with no actual care for their customers and the homes they are renting out. I literally had a river or sewerage in my backyard due to their lack of action after I had told them many times that something was wrong with the toilet system. And did they send anyone to clean up? Nope! I was promised a fan and blinds to be installed in my room before I moved in, I got blinds after about 4 months of living there and 1 year later there is still no fan. The largest amount of money they splurged was on an extension cable so we were able to plug the (broken microwave that short circuited whenever used) into the bathroom/ laundry room from the kitchen. I was also promised there would be a second bathroom installed before I moved in, didn't happen for at least 4 months and when it did it was the most terrible job, no paint to cover the giant gyprock patch, no builders clean up and the shower was installed backwards. The back yard I was promised would be fixed and grassed when I moved in, didn't happen they just left it a concrete slab with literally screws and sharp metal pointing out of it, I had to find someone to grind them off for me because the real estate were to lazy to fix a hazard, the yard and driveway wAs filled with screws, glass, random bits of builders supplies and it was clear no builders clean had been done. On top of all this, they have the hide to claim my bond without my knowledge. See you in court Reece realty I wouldn't recommend you to my worst enemy. I spent half an hour waiting in your office once and the only thing you staffs talked about wAs tenants and their appearances or how annoying they are. Simply unprofessional.

Reece Realty is direct but fair, Stevie and Rachel are top ladies and look after their renters. Great maintenance work and have worked replaced anything we had issues with no matter how big. And were able to help us with any concern about the property.

Reece Realty are the most helpful, polite and honest real estate agents in the area with some of the best accommodation. I was recommended to them from by friends from the Newcastle University that were previous tenants. The entire team at Reece Realty where very welcoming and confident in finding accommodation that suited my criteria. I was able to inspect the properties on the spot with Rachel who showed me around the area and was very experienced in the student accommodation department. I felt confident within Reece Realty and now rent a room through them, and I am very pleased with my choice with the help of Rachel and Reece Realty. All maintenance that has been reported to the office has been dealt with in a timely matter. When Reece Realty visit the property to check up on things they always smile and say hello, and are extremely approachable. I highly recommend any one who is looking for accommodation, or renting a property to rent through Reece Realty as they are wonderful people to deal with.

I have rented a student house with Reece Realty Newcastle for the past 12 months & have renewed my lease for another 12 months. I could not fault the two staff members I have dealt with Stevie & Rachel. I showed up to the office (without an appointment) in clearly the offices busiest time & they were over accommodating, the receptionist squeezed me in to look at university properties within the day. I dealt with Stevie the manager of the student department which was good as she has a lot of knowledge and obviously new what all of the properties were like. I gave Stevie a criteria of what I was after, I was shown a few properties on a list that she thought was going to be suitable for me, myself and my parents were then offered to be driven around in her car (which was great because we had no idea around the area) when we were shown rooms Stevie was able to tell me who lived in the house , what the other tenants studied & how old the other tenants were. My parents & I were happy to secure one of the rooms that we were shown that day, I signed a lease with Rachel a few weeks later & she was extremely helpful & patient with me as I had a lot of questions when signing the lease. If I have ever had any maintenance it is always repaired within the week or I am kept updated with where it is up to. I have recommended all friends & future university students with them as Reece Realty has been nothing but delightful to deal with.

Lived in a Reece Realty home for a year. The staff were generally incompetent and face to face and telephone conversations in which my housemates and I spoke to them were "forgotten" constantly as we were asked "do you have it in writing?" Agents also entered the premises multiple times without permission and visits were only lessened when we approached the tenancy tribunal and threatened legal action. Oven was left broken and when questioned about when it was going to be fixed they consistently told us they had no record of us telling them the oven was broken. This included face to face reports, phonecalls, and emails. When emails proving the contact were shown we were told that the agent handling our house was 'away' and that no one had seen them (despite our proof of their own email responses.) Bond was difficult to get back and took a long time and several arguments. The staff of Reece Realty became fantastically accommodating and competent right before we were due to resign the lease (and only then.) I will never rent another property from them.

The staff at Reece Realty were very friendly and considerate of my needs in helping me find a room to rent in Newcastle. Since signing my lease last year, I have had no problems with my living arrangements and the condition of the property I am currently staying. In fact, I am so pleased and grateful for their help that I will continue to resign my lease through Reece Realty for the remainder of my university course. Stevie was particularly helpful and regularly makes sure that everything is fine where I am staying. If you are looking for a place to stay, I definitely recommend you pop by their office to make inquiries. They will be more than willing to help!

Reece reality has the most friendly staff I have ever met. I totally disagree with whoever has left negative feedback. Rachel and Stevie-lee were the two lovely girls to help me sign up to a room last year before Uni began even though I was late in looking for a place. They set me up in a beautiful place where I have met lots of new friends. Both the girls continue making sure everything in the house is perfect which is why I have resigned another years lease. Thanks so much girls !

I feel after having read the previous comments that I should share my positive dealings with this business, given I had no problems from when I enquired about and rented a home with my family, and just recently, buying our first home with this company. I was surprised when I first entered their very small office, but over the past 4 years of dealings with both the rental girls and the sales team, I thought they work very well together. I found the entire staff to be quite pleasant from the first dealings, right through to the day we picked up our very own keys. I have found that they are very detailed yet understanding in their approach. I found this company to be a credit in what's considered to be a pretty abrupt industry.
