Knew the bike was the best price for the parts on it... but super impressed with the staff. Ripper.

I bought a bicycle from Reid Cycles. In the year I've owned it, it's continually had problems. From vibrating pedals to grinding sounds in the drive train. So far they've admitted that they assembled the bicycle incorrectly which caused the vibrating pedals. For the grinding sound when pedalling, they've said that the grease inside the drive train has disappeared which has caused the drive train to rust away internally. So far I've made 4 warranty claims yet still have problem after problem. I'm now going to the Department of Consumer Protection and the ACCC to get this sorted. It's been a huge pain and a massive annoyance. I just wish I had a bike that worked.

Update: a few days following the below review I was contacted by Arlie from Reid Cycles who apologised for the situation explaining there was some confusion at store level. He arranged for my license to be posted to me. This was really helpful and I hope the store can use this as an opportunity to learn and improve their customer service moving forward.

Disgraceful customer service.
I was asked to leave my drivers license while test riding a bike and they forgot to give it back to me when I left the store. I called a few days later asking for it to be posted to me as I live over an hour away. They refused to post it claiming they didn't want the liability if it went missing, despite my recommendation to use registered post to resolve this concern. The only way I can get it back is by making a 3 hour round trip going in store. An extremely frustrating experience with the added difficultly of stay at home restrictions in place. If this is the poor service I receive from the store manager, I am extremely glad I didn't complete the purchase of a bike which I was waiting to come in stock. Absolutely no logic or customer care.

Good quality , i bought a mountain bike since fews month and im really happy of my product ! The price are sheap for a good bike
