My daughter unfortunately inherited this rental management company located in Milton for the last two weeks of her tenancy after a 19 month lease. They intentionally limit their communication with tenants exiting from their property rentals and fabricate untruths as to a property’s condition upon exit so to extract a large sum of money from your bond. They are willing to make you wait and go through the long arduous process of conciliation or tribunal. My advice is ensure you always do a thorough walk through with them before you leave and that you take a lot of photographs upon getting the keys at the start of your tenancy and before handing them at the end.
I would also add make renting easier on yourself and avoid this rental management company if you possibly can as the reviews that are 1 Star and not 5 are the genuine ones by real tenants.

I've read several negative reviews about this company taking bond and now without a doubt, it is my turn.I already reported them to RTA and as of this stage waiting for notice of unresolved dispute so I can take them to QCAT. Don't let them take advantage of you take them to QCAT.

I was planning to move in to my friend’s house as my friends were moving out in April’22. She told me to contact Chase (owner of rent star) so I sent email him to introduce myself and plan for moving in and what procedure’s required and price etc. I didn’t get reply. I sent another one as I thought he didn’t receive my email, but still no reply so I called him.
I told him who I am and sent emails to him, he just said OK. No apologize or no other words. Very rude. I said I would like to move in to the place he just said OK again. So I said, can you call me back or reply to my email about my questions, he said OK then hung up.
Of course, no reply no call back.

After a week, I called him back again but no answer. I wrote another email to him as I really wanted to move into the house, but no answer.

I could not waste any more time so I looked around other places and luckily I got approved. Now, I am very pleased that I didn’t get my friend’s house, I don’t have to deal with such an unprofessional, no respect, very arrogant and no communicating agent.

If you see the house with this agent, just forget about it. You will be frustrated and stressed, no good result I am telling you.

This stellar company attracts a certain type of money-hungry landlord where they feed off a cycle of inaction and blame for a constellation of property maintenance issues including mould, faulty electricals, basic plumbing, and gutter cleaning.

Getting your bond back will be an intergalactic mission! Spacey end of lease inspections will dispute the work of professional bond cleaners and will try and charge you to the milky way and back.

Stars collided when they misplaced the spare key to our rental! Other extra-terrestrial practices including profiting $20 per week off a break lease.

You’d be out of this galaxy to choose Rent Stars! But if you’ve already made that mistake, reach for the QSTARs!!

They will rob you once lease is up. I take pride in my home and like to leave it better than when I arrived. I did that with a property from Rent start. Somehow they took all my bond money complaining that the floorboards throughout the whole house needed to be redone because of my dog. I have a mini Cavoodle which has his nails clipped every month. I don’t want anyone else to make the mistake of going with this company

Scammers! Stay AWAY! Waste of energy! Waste of time! Staff need training! Management needs training! No telephone etiquette! They never return your calls. Unprofessional!
