Have been there many times but the quality had dropped - slow service and food not as good as it used to be - lacks flavour and some dishes colder than they should be

After walking upstairs to enjoy Chinese New Year it was worth it.
Food is really good if someone else is paying for it as it was in this case the boss. I have eaten here with my family too but I thought it was overpriced.
Waiters excellent and attentive service. Huge menu and lots of room inside or on the balcony for sea views

One thing I love about Soy is the decor, which makes dining in a pleasant experience. It's colourful and unique compared to most Chinese restaurants and tops the ambience list. Having said that, the quality of their food does not put them at the top of my list, however, one exception to the rule is their Salt & Pepper Calamari... OMG! This is one of the only reasons I go there... seriously it gets no better. Their banana fritters are pretty damn good also. Other Chinese restaurants leave their fried rice for dead. Servings are on the larger size, but so is the pricing. They have a great bar, with a huge selection to choose from. Plenty of seating, but booking is required to secure a spot. Option to eat out on the balcony in the warmer months.
