What people need to know before they buy a Hyundai - the parts cost a fortune (and you'll need them soon enough).
I paid $5K to get my steering fixed - on a $13K Accent!
No beef with this particular dealership, but I think all potential buyers need to know this.

A representative returned my call to make a time for me to come in and test the two cars I was interested in. A smooth operator over the phone, but NOT so face to face. I had arranged to do a test drive with out my husband and other children to avoid arguments between the kids, and so that I could decide what I would prefer to purchase - manual or auto. I had made them aware of all this over the phone. On the phone the first time I spoke with them, they were ever so nice to offer to txt me the details of the address of the car yard and details on time and cars I was to be testing - they said straight after the phone call. But they failed to do so, until the next day (the actual day approx 2 1/2 hrs before I was to be there) They worked Fast, and was thorough with all details on the ix35 and i30 that I had booked in to test drive when they showed me the cars. Even got me to sit in them to test them for size in the back seats. Upon arrival I had my 4 year olds booster seat all ready to go to take these two cars for a test drive as arranged on the phone. However I was absolutely flabbergasted at how I was not able to drive or even encouraged to drive the two cars. So much so, they said i "should wait until I have my husband and other children with me and try it over the weekend." When they asked if I had my car with me, and I replied no I have a loan car from another car yard they said "that was never going to happen at their car yard." And then followed by "well see how you go with their car and come back on the weekend with your family to try ours... I will call you tomorrow to see if your still interested in our car" When they spoke to me, they spoke clearly and was not aggressive however the words they spoke were so terribly received on my end with the way they said it that I will not be test driving anything through them! It's a shame that you would employ someone so arrogant . You guys easily just lost a sale because of ignorant staff. The representative put a *foot* in it further more when my 4 year old was sitting on the chair trying to get our attention and the finance staff happened to walk past and went to offer her a biscuit "for being such a good girl" (were his words) and the representative laughed and said "ohhh don't feed her up now, she just had a snack and they will be coming back for a test drive and she can have biscuits when they drive the car" Ohhhhhh NICE one! NOT! Honestly, it was a terrible experience thank fully not my first car yard. If it was I probably would not want to go to another car yard ever again.

I hired a Hyundai I-load van from avis last year for a business trip to melbourne to deliver a new customer engine. I have been in the automotive and mechanical industry for 20 years and was amazed at how good the i-load was. I have to confess i condemned the van before i had even driven it, but it turned out Hands down the most comfortable van ive driven, the most powerfull, and the most fuel efficient. I was so impressed, i have ordered myself a 2013 i-load from reynella hyundai. Sales team and finance were totally fuss free and was done in less than a day. Thanks to Amber, Stuart, Martin, and the other good looking girl who sold me the tinted windows and other add-ons. Cant wait for delivery.

I found the customer service was great on the car yard and I would be happy to buy another car from Reynella Hyundai. I think that Melisa Bednall was a great person and very professional. The service on my i30 was handled very efficiently and in good time. My wife, being small has had trouble closing the boot, I mentioned this and one of your mechanics was able to add a small strap which has solved the problem. I think he is called Dave.
