I visited this restaurant last night after having been 3 years ago. The renovation done recently is fantastic & the atmosphere is really funky. Murals splash the walls and the red lanterns & background music let off a romantic, energising vibe. The service is attentive and friendly. We had the almond chicken (nutty, creamy & mild - could have done with some chili) and Nyonya chicken (surprisingly bland, we had to add salt). Each of these dishes is around 25 dollars. The Roti bread was delicious, but it's the stuff from the freezer section of the Indian shop - it looks and tastes exactly the same and while it's good bread, it should not cost 3 dollars per piece. Saffron rice was spot on (but serves are not very big). The Pinot Noir I had was a great drop. Overall, we had a fantastic night and I can see why this restaurant is always booked out, however when weighing up the price and quality of food I won't be returning in a hurry.

Approximate cost: $25
