Prior to ordering from this pizza place we asked if the prawns were clean to which they responded that they were. We ordered prawn pizzas and were mortified when we realised that they had not been gutted or anything. We couldn't eat our pizzas and never went back

Approximate cost: $25

Hi Justbeinghonest, just wondering whether you informed management of your discovery? Disappointing and potentially deadly! Regards, Reeces

Yum, yum, yummy!

Ordered pizzas from here the other night and they were delicious! The 'about 10 mins' wait though was more like 20-25 min, but the young lady behind the counter was friendly and chatted to me whilst I waited.

Will definitely be back!

Approximate cost: $24.00

Fantastic pizzas. they have the best deep pan pizzas in ballarat and for really good value prices. Only thing is you have to remember to take cash as there is no eftpos.

Rio Bravo have great food. I love that they offer more then just pizza. Their souvalaki's are great. Service is always consistently good. When they deliver They're always pretty punctual. Overall I really enjoy this pizza shop :)

I get meals at Rio every 3-4months or so. Usually I order chicken (breast quarter), peas and pumpkin. Peas, pumpkin, roast potato and scalloped potato are on offer as well as chips. The chocolate mousse is yummy? I got a BBQ Chicken Pizza 2 weeks ago and found it dissapointing. Careful examination showed just a bit of red next to the base. The chicken was dry and cheese was on top. I didn't save the left overs for breakfast. I have ordered their spaghetti bolonaise and found it very tasty. I ordered one of their Chinese dishes and ate no more than a quarter of it before throwing it out. It may have just been a bad night. I haven't ordered another one so I can't say.

Approximate cost: $8

I love pizza. I love small pizza venues, so naturally, I like rio bravo.
I've had my share of good and bad experiences.. But hey, the pizza will never be perfect on the busiest night of the week.

Love this place. I must admit when I first went in I was a bit sceptical because they do so many different types of food, but everything I've tried has been delish! I haven't tried the chinese as i prefer to get my chinese from a chinese restaurant, but my faves include the satay pizza, chips cheese and gravy, alfredo pasta, chicken burger and the chicken pieces. And you can't go in there without trying one of the mousses... in fact you might wanna get two lol I always wish i did!

Approximate cost: $10-12

Fav Pizza in the Rat, and it ususally works out cheaper than all the other places, and the pizza that is cheaper else where doesn't have barely any topping and no cheese on top. PLUS i can get my boyfriend his cheese burgers ect there and don't have to go two or three places. Thanks Rio!

Approximate cost: $8.95-15.90
