Riverside is a small restaurant that is dimly lit. The staff (Gordon and Lan) are very friendly. Their food is the best Chinese food i've eaten. I can highly recommend the salt and pepper chicken, which is a little spicy, but fantastic!
There are other cheaper Chinese restaurants around, and quite a few more expensive, but none as good.

Been here a few times now when in the area. Wouldn't go out of my way to go here because its just more expensive then most Asian take away and not really any nicer. Same sort of menu with a couple of Chef's specials but pretty the same as any other. For the extra cost per serving its just not worth it.

Perhaps you need to go a few more times. The quality of the dishes is not your average take away Chinese. The couple that run the place are fantastic hosts. It is the same experience as a small local restaurant in an Asian country. They take the time to get to know you and remember you when you come back. Be realistic though there is only two of them so if it is full and they are running around of course they are not going to stop and have a conversation until everyone is served :)
I have had both Authentic and adapted Asian cuisine and while this is Authentic it is still very expensive compared to other restaurants! A family will pay $20+ more to eat here then at another Asian take away. I agree service is good and did give high star for it.
The food is absolutely fantastic, delicate, simple and full of flavour without any MSG.
The service is spectacular, go there a couple of times and they will remember your name. They get to know you like guests not customers.
The food costs more than your standard Chinese takeaway but it is worth every cent.
