The theatre and location are close to public transport with buses right at the door, parking for the theatre is limited and other parking close by is pay parking - so either be ready for a bit of a walk, catch public transport or be ready to pay for parking.
The theatre has it's own restaurant outside and a kiosk bar inside, if these do not appeal to your tastes head down Church St to find many different restaurants.
I have been to Riverside for multiple productions over the years, the seating is comfortable and placed so that you have a good view of the stage no matter where you are sitting.
The staff are very friendly and happy to accommodate you wherever possible.
The only downside I have found apart from parking is that of general crowd control when leaving at half time or full time of a production. With young children it is very difficult to keep a hold of them or in sight with no structure to the comings and goings.

I recently went here to watch my daughter in the celebrating the arts musical. Wow, having never been there before I was impressed.

Very small and cosy theatre, very clean and presentable.

Seats very comfy, and good viewing where we were sitting.

Service with a smile and very friendly.

Overal a great experience.

This place is great you have a great view from most seats and the place is so stylish. The lady that i spoke to book my tickets was also very friendly and helpful, i would go there again.

I love the theatre and having a the Riverside so close to home is wonderful. They have such a great variety of shows...we have been there twice to see comedy shows. The location is great too...being so close to bars and restaurants. I makes for an awesome night out!!
