A very unpleasant experience. We waited over 1 1/4 hrs. to eat only to receive a cold dish which had to be returned twice. My fiancee's curry didn't taste of curry and looked very unappetising, cerainly not worth $28 ! Our puddings were cold and had to be returned. They were delicious when hot.Other people received their food much earlier than ours even though they had ordered considerably later after us which was unfair.I was not charged for my main course which was good. This business really needs to lift it's game.Other people complained about the wait for food and the quality as well.

Approximate cost: $26

This winery has the most breathtaking views. It seems like you can see the whole world from this gorgeous bluestone building.
There is a small restaurant with an indoor barbie/grill & the food's not bad. The hosts are really lovely people & the wine's pretty good too. Just a little out of Lilydale, traveling towards Healesville, on a small dirt road just past Rochford's Winery, this is definitely a place to visit on a leisurely Sunday, when you're looking for something to do

This is an amazing winery. It is only abot 1 km off the Maroondah hwy. It has possibly the best views of any winery. You have mountains and hills in all directions, as well as sprawling vines. There is an indoor eating areas, an outdoor enlcosed eating area, as well as an exposed area. They do lunch, but not sure about dinner. Children are welcome. They can do private functions.

Approximate cost: $25
