Want Dodgy Smash Repairs? ~ Head straight to Romano Smash Repairs Willetton...!!! I gave my Holden Astra after I had accidently bogged its front in the sand leaving washer-bottle and front bumper damaged. It also had snapped the washer pump connecting washer-bottle. Romano just replaced the washer-bottle, fixed the bumper but didn't bother replacing the pump. Instead they put some PVC glue to the broken part which worked only for 5/6 months. It was causing slow dripping from the bottle and clogging spray nozzles with dust when the wipers were being activated. When approached Romano, they simply ignored and asked for another claim or approval from QBE. I went back to QBE they declined to issue fresh rectification authorisation as they have been fed up with their sub-standard dodgy repairs and had black-listed during 2017. Funniest thing was that they just hung the washer bottle from the hook without putting the screw back to hold it in-place. What a quality control...laughable. So to have a peace of mind stay away from these dodgy repairers. There is no less than one-star rating otherwise I will put that.

Never had an issue with them. Always great service and the car looks great. The quality of the work is next to none - it's like a new car afterwards. Never a good time having to go to a smash repair and they make it a good experience.

Approximate cost: $1100

We had to take our car here, as that's where our insurance (HBF) sent us.
It took them 3 weeks to replace a door handle!
I returned after 3 days, as originally agreed to be told that it wasn't ready, and the car wasn't roadworthy, since they had dismantled the door.
They didnt pre-order the part despite knowing the details a week in advance, and then dismantled the door before they even ordered the part.

I was unable to drive the car and return it once they had the parts, as they were 'too busy' to reassemble the door.
After 3 weeks and 14 phone calls, I was finally able to collect the car.
Never again.

If only I'd read this before my 6 week nightmare! Never again
