1 review about Romano's Coffee

This little cafe has started up where the nut and lolly shack used to be at the bottom of the escalators in the food court area of Altona Gate shopping centre. And that's really the only drawback - the location is noisy and anything but exclusive or private. They have nice wooden tables and chairs in a dark stain set behind a partition on one side, but the other side is open to passing traffic.

But they do make a great cup of coffee, really great. Their cappuccino is perfect in every way - nice and strong, but not bitter, plenty of foam and lovely chocolate on top. Really hits you on the way down. Nice and hot too. A regular size is only $3.30.

You are served promptly and there is a selection of yummy slices, muffins and biscuits to take your fancy too.

Just don't plan on any romantic conversation. LOL But there is room to park your trolley in front if you've just been to the supermarket.
